FAQ

Is it a usage tracker / surveillance tool?

Section titled “Is it a usage tracker / surveillance tool?”

No. It’s the opposite. It doesn’t measure how much AI you use, and it captures no source code, terminal output, or keystrokes. It reflects your validation practice back to you, locally. A calm mirror, not a manager’s dashboard.

Never. It makes no network calls — a Prime Directive enforced in CI. No account, no login, no telemetry. Everything is local JSON on your machine.

Yes — it’s tool-agnostic. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, even a browser tab or copy-paste. It watches your validation actions, not where the code came from.

The headline trend is self-comparative and stays a quiet “forming” note until you have ~5 sessions — it won’t grade a sparse history. Also, work done by an AI agent or in an external terminal isn’t auto-captured: log it with ✅ Log a Validation or @agentkarma /verify, then end the session.

Uninstalling deleted my data — is that a bug?

Section titled “Uninstalling deleted my data — is that a bug?”

No. Updates preserve your data; an explicit uninstall (or Delete All Local Data) removes it. For a privacy-first tool, your local data leaving with the tool is the point.

Yes — free on the VS Code Marketplace and open-source under Apache-2.0. An Innovate With Sanjeev project.
