Install

Section titled “Install”

  1. Open the Extensions view in VS Code (Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + X).

  2. Search for Agent Karma, or install it directly from the VS Code Marketplace.

  3. Open the Agent Karma view in the Activity Bar (the chakra icon).

Your first session

Section titled “Your first session”

  1. Click ▶ Start Session — set your intent (what you’re working on), the AI tool, and the task type.

  2. Code with your AI as usual. Agent Karma quietly notes file changes and any tests/build/lint you run — metadata only, never your code.

  3. Click ✅ Log a Validation to record a check you ran (this also works without any chat provider — the Copilot-free equivalent of @agentkarma /verify).

  4. Click ■ End Session to compute your Karma Score and Phal Card — a reflection of whether you validated before trusting.

  5. Open the Dashboard to see your trend, or Generate a Karma Card to share your validation practice.
